Sunflowers. I love sunflowers. I have grown them in my garden before and found it so amazing to walk out into the back yard, pick a flower and release the seeds. Perfect food, no preparation, just crack it open and partake of the bounty. Extraordinary!
I love that word, extraordinary. Have you ever stopped and pronounced it as it is spelled? Extra Ordinary. I looked this up in the thesaurus and came up with a number of words that describe extra ordinary – here are a few: amazing; astounding; bewildering; breathtaking; impressive; marvelous; miraculous; spectacular; staggering; startling; striking; stunning; stupefying; stupendous; wonderful; wondrous…I am sure there are many more. All great words to describe God’s provision for the flowers in the field, the birds in the air and his children because He loves us so much.
Let’s start conversation by picking one and leaving a comment about something in God’s world that you would describe using this word.
School. Only 37 hours until I can register for Fall classes. I’m in a mood to paint. Hope I get into Professor Gaddy’s painting class. Wish me luck.
Washing Machines. I am so thankful I don’t have to do my laundry using a wringer washing machine like my Grandmothers did. Of course it is a matter of perspective. I am sure they were thankful for the wringer so they didn’t have to carry the wash down to the creek and wash it on a rock. 🙂
